FICS - easy integration with other IT systems
ARGO wanted to harmonize workflows, provide better service to citizens, and document that they are leading in terms of environment and economy. ARGO lacked a tool that could support this process – it was a perfect time as two organizations were being merged.
This is where Consit came in with FICS. It is a standard solution that can easily be adapted and grow with the organization.

Document management system as a professional system
It was a strategic decision from ARGO’s side to make the document management system a professional system. This means creating a natural platform for project work and collaboration, instead of an expert system that only a few people can use. This required ARGO to change their approach to how the system is used, and the solution needed to be rolled out to all users in the organization.
In this way, collaboration is increased, and more knowledge sharing is created. ARGO now provides better overall service regarding case handling and inquiries – thanks to FICS, which has made it easier to access the necessary information. Employees at ARGO now have the ability to find relevant documentation through searches in FICS, unlike before, when all physical mail had to be manually scanned.

A new IT solution
One of the most challenging aspects of implementing new IT solutions is getting users to change their habits in their workflows. That’s why Consit places great emphasis on a thorough introduction through training. This way, the company can gain experience by working independently and have their questions answered. With this approach, Consit ensured that the implementation of FICS and the subsequent rollout went very smoothly.

Standardized external communication
With FICS as the foundation, ARGO's desire for harmonization of their workflows and processes was fulfilled. Today, ARGO has a standardized approach to document creation and production. This means that ARGO works with templates, which save time, provide consistent language, and a unified graphical appearance. Additionally, email communication is automatically archived electronically within projects, ensuring that important information is not lost. The document management system has provided better oversight and access to necessary information. Furthermore, FICS has enabled more people to work on the same project and collaborate on project and task follow-ups.
