Weighing Solution 365 for Business Central
In collaboration with a number of customers, we have developed the future weighing program, which is based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This is the solution for you, whether you have just a few weighings or hundreds of weighings per day, whether it's from one location to many locations, and whether you need simple weighing data registrations or a more advanced setup with many automated processes.
With Business Central as the platform for the weighing program, you can focus on your business. You gain direct access to world-class invoicing and financials – regardless of whether you choose to run Business Central in the Cloud/Online or on your own servers.
Weighing Solution 365 can also be run as a stand-alone program with exports to other financial systems.
Target Audience
The solution is aimed at companies with weighbridges that need to register weighing data for invoicing, documentation, and reporting purposes.
Main Features
Weighing Solution 365 is a weighing program with a suite of functionalities that can be customized based on your needs and desires to automate and streamline weighing procedures.
Waste Code Management
This includes, among other things, EAK codes from the Environmental Protection Agency. Waste codes are linked to individual items and follow the weighings until they are reported to, for example, the Environmental Protection Agency. Reporting to the Environmental Protection Agency can be done via a file or an extraction using the agency’s spreadsheet template.
Weighing Agreement
This includes the goods that can be weighed for a customer. The weighing agreement has many options for adding further conditions—such as an agreed quantity and an agreed period for the validity of the weighing agreement.
Sampling Control
If sampling control is required, it can be set up for individual weighing agreements or carriers.
Tax Module
In connection with the weighing program, we can set up a tax module so that you can apply, for example, raw material, sorting, and loading fees to weighings.
Consolidated Invoicing of Weighings
Print a report for a given period specifying all weighings within the selected timeframe.
How We Do It
- Clarification Meeting
We begin with a clarification meeting where we have an initial discussion of your needs and expectations for a new weighing program. During this process, we will cover the following:
a. Expectations for development in the coming years
b. Current weighing procedures and setup
c. Discussion about desired new functionalities and technical setup—such as running the weighing program on your own server versus a cloud environment, invoicing of weighings, reporting, use of terminal stands at weighbridges, customer web portals, etc.
- Development of Requirements Specification and Agreement
In this phase, we will define the specific requirements for the new weighing solution. - Setup of Test Environment
To give you a full understanding of how the solutions work together, we set up a test environment where we create weighing agreements and observe the flow of the solution. - Training
Training is conducted in the test environment using your own data. - Implementation of Weighing Solution in Production Environment

Relevant add-on products
There are many possibilities to expand the solution. Below are elements that can easily be integrated with the solution:
Terminal program, this program is installed on terminals at the weighbridge or in the weighing room. The program is optimized for Windows PCs with touch screen use, and the menus and dialogues on the screen are made extra clear for quick handling by drivers. The terminal program can communicate with cameras that can capture images of the truck's load, card readers or license plate scanners, barriers, lights, etc.
Customer web portal, a portal where weighing agreements/declarations can be created and transferred to the weighing program for approval. In the customer web portal, previous weighings can also be accessed.
Mobile control app, an app that can be used by employees on-site to inspect and potentially modify fractions on ongoing weighings.
