What is Business Intelligence?
With Business Intelligence (BI), you can transform raw data into meaningful insights that can be used to make better decisions, improve efficiency, and increase competitiveness.
BI consists of four elements that make it possible to visualize data from different sources in a clear and interactive way.
- Data Source
Data sources are the systems from which Power BI pulls data. In this package, we fetch data from EazyProject and e-conomic. It is possible to add additional data sources as an extension to the package. - Integration
We use integrations to transfer data into Power BI’s cloud environment. In this package, we use EazyProject’s Web API and e-conomic’s DataHub API. - Data Storage
During integration, data is transformed, and a series of calculations are added. The data is stored in Power BI’s cloud, located on servers in the EU. - Visualization
We use Microsoft Power BI as our visualization tool. Here, it is easy to expand with extra dashboards as an extension to the package. You also have the option to work further with the data in Excel, where you can use the Power BI data model as a cube.
Main Functionality
This package consists of 6 pre-defined dashboards and reports that provide you with a quick and intuitive overview of your business, based on your data from EazyProject and e-conomic.
Some dashboards use data exclusively from one of the data sources, while others combine data from both sources.

How We Do It
1 Clarification Meeting
We start with a clarification meeting where we go through the process and agree on how we will access your system. We will also identify who will be your technical contact for us.
2 Integration between Power BI, EazyProject, and e-conomic
We set up the data connection between Power BI, EazyProject, and e-conomic, and ensure that your data is coming in correctly and displayed properly. The data module is based on the standard fields in your EazyProject and e-conomic and is updated up to 8 times a day.
3 User Setup
We create the Power BI users who will have access to the Power BI dashboard package and set up the employee who will be the administrator. We also assist in setting up a Power BI workspace.
4 Handover and Introduction
We hand over the solution to you, along with a brief introduction on how to use the system (1 hour). If further training or setup of additional analyses or functional areas is required, it will be agreed upon afterward. We retain our administrator access so that we can update the system as needed.
Package Expansion
It is possible to expand the package with additional data sources, calculations, and dashboards.
