We've done all the work for you, so you can get started quickly with this Power BI dashboard package, which combines data sources from EazyProject and Business Central. This provides you with a quick and simple overview of your business.
We offer you a reporting tool with pre-defined dashboards and reports, based on your data in EazyProject and Business Central. You get a unique overview with accurate results, as well as the ability to dive deeper into the data to gain specific insights.

Prerequisites
- Power BI Pro licenses for users who will work with Power BI
- Creation of a system user with a Microsoft 365 license and a Power BI Pro license

What is Business Intelligence?
With Business Intelligence (BI), you can transform raw data into meaningful insights that can be used to make better decisions, improve efficiency, and increase competitiveness.
BI consists of four elements that enable data to be visualized from different sources in a clear and interactive way.
- Data Source
Data sources are the systems from which Power BI pulls data. In this package, we pull data from EazyProject and Business Central. It is possible to add additional data sources as an extension to the package. - Integration
We use integrations to move data into Power BI’s cloud environment. In this package, we use EazyProject’s Web API and an extension to Business Central. - Data Storage
As part of the integration, data is transformed, and a series of calculations are added. Data is stored in Power BI’s cloud, which is located on servers in the EU. - Visualization
We use Microsoft Power BI as our visualization tool. Here, it is easy to expand with additional dashboards as an extension to the package. You also have the option to work further with data in Excel, where you can use the data model from Power BI as a cube.
Main Functionality
This package consists of 6 predefined dashboards and reports that provide you with a quick and intuitive overview of your business, based on your data from EazyProject and Business Central.
Some dashboards only use data from one of the data sources, while others combine data from both data sources.

How We Do It
1 Kickoff Meeting
We start with a kickoff meeting, where we go through the process and clarify how we will access your system. We will also identify who will be your technical contact for us.
2 Integration Between Power BI, EazyProject, and Business Central
We set up the data connection between Power BI, EazyProject, and Business Central, ensuring that your data flows correctly and is displayed accurately. The data module is based on fields that are standard in both your EazyProject and Business Central systems.
3 User Creation
We create the Power BI users who will need access to the Power BI dashboard package and set up your designated administrator. We also assist with setting up a workspace for Power BI.
4 Delivery and Introduction
We hand over the solution to you, along with a brief introduction on how to use the system (1 hour). If additional training or configuration of further analyses or functional areas is required, this can be arranged afterward. We retain our admin access so we can continuously update the system.
Package Expansion
It is possible to expand the package with additional data sources, calculations, and dashboards.
