Together with EazyProject, we have developed a solution that ensures the update of data shared between the company’s administrative accounting solution, Business Central, and the project management solution, EazyProject. Together, the solution forms a perfect project management tool and an updated, clear financial solution.

Main functionality

With many years of experience in project management in both Dynamics NAV/Business Central and with integration packages for EazyProject, we can help guide you through a quick and easy setup. We know the processes, "speak" your language, and can ask the right questions before the project begins.

This includes:

  • Synchronization of customers, suppliers, and postings of purchase invoices and purchase credit notes.
  • Sales invoices created in EazyProject are automatically generated as sales invoices in Business Central.
  • Projects/cases created in EazyProject are automatically created in Business Central as dimension values for the Project dimension.

How we do it

1 Clarification Meeting
We begin with a clarification meeting, where we agree on a timeline – we can typically implement within four weeks – based on a review of the different functional areas and what your future business processes should be.

We will cover the following points:

  • Project management and administrative solution today
  • Expenses and costs on cases
  • Mileage and time tracking
  • Ongoing work
  • Upgrade/conversion
  • Billing/printing
  • Any additional solutions
  • Timeline: We can typically implement within 4 weeks
  • Scope of consulting support

2 Setup of Test Environment  
To give you a full understanding of how the solutions work together, we set up a test environment where we will create transactions together and observe the flow within the solution.

This takes place in the test environment.

Processes

The integration supports the following processes:

  • Debtors
    Customers are maintained in Business Central. If they are relevant for EazyProject, the customer is marked in Business Central, causing the customer to be created/updated in EazyProject.

  • Vendors 
    Vendors are created and maintained in Business Central. If they are relevant for EazyProject, the vendor is marked in Business Central, and the vendor is automatically created/updated in EazyProject.

  • Projects/Cases
    Projects are created and maintained in EazyProject and are automatically updated in Business Central. Projects always start in the project group and are created and maintained naturally there.

  • Purchase Invoices
    Posted in Business Central, often via Document Capture (a standard add-on for Business Central).

  • Sales Invoices
    Created in EazyProject, printed from there, and automatically updated as sales invoices. They can then be posted in Business Central with the transferred project code. The same functionality applies to sales credit notes.
